The Research Talent Hub (RTH) helps companies hire research talent by reimbursing a major portion of their salary. The process is detailed, but once you understand the flow, it becomes very manageable.
A valid R&D project
A selected research talent (RTH does not fund future hires)
A fair and open recruitment process with a public job ad
A real office—RTH doesn’t say this explicitly, but you must show your location, sign, and workspace
Prepare your BRC, incorporation documents, tenancy agreement, job ad, recruitment records, employment contract, graduation proof, and project justification, etc.. Missing documents are the most common cause of delays.
Applications go through ITCFAS. Each talent requires a separate submission. The Secretariat checks eligibility, project relevance, and alignment between duties and R&D scope.
Track salary (pay statement), and deliverables. These records are required for reimbursement.
This is the toughest stage because it includes an interview and a deeper review of your project. But you’re simply demonstrating what you already stated in your application—nothing more.
RTH is reimbursement‑based. You pay the talent first, including MPF, submit your progress report, and receive the subsidy after approval.
If you want help preparing your progress report, understanding what evidence to prepare, or ensuring your documentation aligns with RTH expectations, you’re welcome to schedule a consulting session. It’s the fastest way to avoid delays and secure your funding smoothly.
